The Vera C. Rubin Observatory has begun using its unique speed and mega camera to capture detailed images of the universe every 40 seconds. With the start of the 10-Year Legacy Surgvey of Space and Time, Rubin’s signature campaign, an ultrawide, high-definittion time-lapse movie of the cosmos is being created.
